Cerveillac (or Serveillac) is a hamlet of about twelve houses and farms and is typical of this very pastoral, wooded and peaceful area of the Dordogne. The area immediately surrounding the village offers beautiful countryside with meandering country lanes, meadows rich in wildflowers and extensive oak forests which are home to deer, wild boar, buzzards and red kites. The village is on the road to nowhere in particular so there is very little traffic making for an extremely peaceful environment  where you can enjoy all the things that are so attractive about life in rural France.
